In 2020, artists and everyday folk alike found a new sense of meaning through the art of making. Knitting, sewing, hand-tufting and hand-carving their way through the pandemic, people across America turned to craft as a way to meet the complexity of the moment.

Celebrating this recent resurgence of craft and DIY culture, The Pandemic Folk Art Museum presents homemade art objects produced during quarantine.

Our first exhibition Tufted Rugs will open in Los Angeles in January 2022.
